Bob Filner’s Campaign
As an
eight-term Congressman, Bob Filner is the
highest ranking elected federal official in
San Diego County and is Chairman of the
Veterans’ Affairs Committee – what a place
to gain experience or even kick off a
career.
Putting
into practice his belief that “…with our
individual involvement we can change
history,” Congressman Filner works day in
and day out with the people of California’s
51st border district to change
history and improve the region.
What you’ll
do:
Database management
-
Continually update voter database
-
Research and obtain contact information;
includes making phone calls
-
Retrieve tailored data sets from
database
General administrative
-
Research supporters and demographics
-
Implement mailings: coordinate
recipients, fold letters, stuff
envelopes, label, stamp, seal and mail
-
Build spreadsheets and enter data
-
Run errands
-
Type and make copies
Special Projects
-
Based on expertise, manage or focus on
special projects (i.e. website upgrades,
IT infrastructure improvements, specific
outreach projects, event management,
etc.)
